Less than a week to go until one of the most beloved Final Fantasy games in the franchise is re-released in its HD form. Heralded as a masterpiece for its visuals, story and revolutionary gameplay, Tuesday March 18th marks the day for players old and new to get their hands on this epic saga.
With all that's leading up to this game's launch, we wanted to put together a quick recap of some new assets and activities that we've released to get you amped up for this timeless adventure. Starting off with a little unboxing video we did with Mat from our Marketing team and Kelsey from our Merchandise division, players can get a glimpse at what to expect from our North American exclusive Collector's Edition, which can only be purchased off the Square Enix Online Store.
Now that we've got the physical game and its awesome swag out of the way, we've also released the HD opening cinematic of the game. A scene that has resonated across video game history as one of the greatest of its kind, the Final Fantasy X opening scene sets the bar high for the beginning of the game and will not disappoint players as they traverse through the world of Spira.

Last, but not least, we are celebrating the relaunch of this historic title with the first of its kind Final Fantasy X/X-2 Art Gallery featuring a charity auction with all proceeds benefiting those immediately affected by Typhoon Haiyan. The collector's edition for the PlayStation®3 system will be sold exclusively at the Square Enix Online Store for $79.99. Available as a 2-in-1 retail pack, the PlayStation®Vita system version of the game will include FINAL FANTASY X HD Remaster on the game card and FINAL FANTASY X-2 HD Remaster as a downloadable PlayStation®Network voucher.
